View system database backups

System database backups that are no longer required can be deleted.

Prerequisites

See Roles and associated permissions to determine the user roles that can perform this task.

Steps

  1. Select Settings icon to open the Settings panel.
  2. Select Unisphere Databases > System Database.

    The following properties display:

    • Name—Name of the backup in the form TimeStamp_CustomName
    • Status—Status of the backup
    • Start Time—Time the backup started
    • End Time—Time the backup ended
    • Description—Message that is related to the backup

    The following controls are available:

    System database backups can be restored. You can only restore the database to the same version and same operating system.
